'Turning 80: Four Decades of Painting the Landscape'
31st May -27th June, 2026
Bayley Arts Gallery, 1 Avoca St, Highett, Victoria
80 paintings on linen, canvas, board, and handmade paper

My solo exhibition was comprised of 80 paintings executed over 40 years. It was a wonderful afternoon with Susanne Ciavatta, the wonderful coordinator of Bayley Arts, opening the exhibition, and Skye Jefferys, who did so much for my artistic career at Gallery Jones in Ripponlea, giving a moving and heartfelt opening speech. It was great to have so many family members, friends and visitors share this event, and I'm so grateful to all those who made this possible.

'Water for Life'
12th-19th April, 2026
Palazzo del Capitano del Perdono Museum, Assisi, Italy
'Outback Rainstorm, Central Australia' (oil on linen, 76x51cm)

My oil painting, 'Outback Rainstorm, Central Australia', was selected for the 10th Edition of the 'Water for Life' exhibition, highlighting the worldwide need for fresh water, and exhibited in Assisi. It was such an honour to have my work photographed with the Mayor of Assisi, Valter Stoppini, with 'Water for Life' facilitators,  Artistic Director, Antoine Gaber and Art Event Co-ordinator, Angelina Herrara, when I couldn't be there in person.

'Bayside Creatives Month' - 1st-28th February, 2026
As part of Bayside Creatives Month, four artists exhibiting in 'Bayside Local' were asked to participate in a panel discussion to talk about their creative  practice and their art. The discussion was convened by Joanna Bosse, Curator of Bayside Gallery, and involved myself as the artist representative with fellow panelists, photographer, Mark Forbes, sculptor, Greg Olijnyk, and ceramicist, Emma Parker.
